Our story is we are avid travelers just like you. We have discovered many new and exciting places to visit, along with must see destinations around the world.

We enjoy traveling but found the planning to be overwhelming. As busy professionals we didn’t have time to spend hours of our free time planning our vacations searching dozens of impersonal websites. We saw a need to bring a high quality personal experience to our clients who feel just as overwhelmed. Thus began our career as travel agents.

Are you a solo traveler?

As a female solo traveler it can be challenging to find travel plans that are safe and also affordable. We have a travel group just for women called Carol’s Crew. Travel with other women and reduce costs by sharing a room or enjoying a group discount. These trips are led by Carol of High Park Travel. The group is free to join and hear about our upcoming trips.

Meet Laird Pelzer, Travel Advisor

Laird’s motto is “The world awaits!” She shares your enthusiasm for travel, and her goal as your travel advisor is to understand you and your unique travel needs and preferences. Laird will inspire your joie de vivre and facilitate your exploration of the world and its varied cultures.

Holding a Master’s Degree in Linguistics from Georgetown University, Laird has a background in teaching English as a Foreign Language, including at the Japanese Embassy and Ambassador’s Residence in Washington, DC. She also has experience organizing large-scale diplomatic events at the French Embassy in Washington, DC, among other venues, and corporate events, as well as special events in New York City, Asheville, and Edinburgh, Scotland. She has lived and worked in Spain (Madrid and Santiago de Compostela) and studied in Paris where she earned a Certificate in Translation. She has traveled throughout Western Europe from the Iberian Peninsula to Scandinavia, as well as Bulgaria, Hungary, Egypt, and India. Her preferred travel style is to experience life as the locals do through authentic and immersive cultural and social activities, ultimately creating links with people around the world.
